13 Sept 2009	New classes	UTDC is happy to announce addition of two new styles of dances to our program: Funk Freestyle (Tue 6-7pm at Hillel) and Bachata (Wed 8-9pm at New College). We are also announcing open auditions for our advanced performance team "UDance" taught by Manuel Dos Santos (Thu 6-7pm at Hillel + additional practices on weekends). Auditions will be held on Thursday September 17 at Hillel: a short choreography will be taught in first 30 min and everyone will perform. Click here to view schedule.
08 Sept 2009	Description of Funk Freestyle Workshop	A brand new workshop series offered by UTDC, focused on learning the key elements of freestyling based on Popping. Suitable for all experience levels. Students will get exposure to foundational moves, techniques, and plenty of chances to practice freestyling in an organized class environment and receive feedbacks from instructor and peers. The workshop is divided into two phases. Phase 1 (info is as listed above) contains 5 classes (instead of 10). Therefore, Phase 1 classes are $20 for students, and $40 for non-students. Phase 2 classes TBD. Location: Hillel Time: Tuesdays 6:00-7:00 pm
08 Sept 2009	Registration hours (updated)	Wed Sep 09 4:30-5:30 pm and 6:30-7:30 pm Thu Sep 10 and Fri Sep 11 6:30-7:30 pm Location: UTDC office (Sussex Club House: 21 Sussex Ave, Room 426). You may also register on the first day of class (week of September 14th), but please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of class. Classes up fill fast, so make sure to register early to avoid dissappointments. Cash or cheque only.
