Like many others, hip-hop is an urban dance style that has progressed from humble street roots into an intricate and highly developed genre. It is so incredibly versatile that it too has branched off (and continues to branch off) into several sub-genres, many of which are touched upon in our classes. In general, hip-hop classes are great not only for exercise, but also for improving coordination, posture, balance and flexibility. In our hip-hop courses, you will learn basic hip-hop moves, including hard movements (like those of breaking, popping and locking) as well as softer R&B style movements. No dance background is required.
